Wet & Cold Driftopia

Josh and I decided to head down to Taupo Motorsport Raceway on the 18th for a drift day held by Rian & Kylee @ Driftopia.

We left at 9am and got to Taupo around 12:30pm, When we arrived, i forgot how cold it was going to be. The other photographers that were there came well prepared.. Keisuke came rushing over to me with gloves! What a great idea, Simon was wearing a smiley face balaclava.. Another good idea.. So from now on, I’m dressing warmer.

Anyways, many of the S-Chassis boys were there, Dan (FEVAH), James (JD/07DRFT), Ollie (Ollie), Andrew (WATDA), Eddie (Eddy) and Chris (Picket) were all driving good. Unfortunately a wall came out and hit Ollie in the last session and resulted in some damage 😦 Kylee was driving very very well in her A31 Cefiro Pinky but she had a wee argument with a tyre stack, forcing her to retire in the afternoon.

Such a place the Taupo Motorsport Raceway , some day when I go to NZ I have to see his raceway, but for that I have to take a fly from México to NZ…thats gonna be fun.

And what is wrong with some windchill out there, you can warm with some hot laps around, and great shot from the nissan 180 sx, I think in America is called nissan 240sx.

    Regards from México.
